  • Rupert Pennefather

    English dancer Rupert Pennefather is a former Principal of The Royal Ballet. He trained at The Royal Ballet School and graduated into the Company in 1999. He was promoted to First Artist in 2004, Soloist in 2005, First Soloist in 2006 and Principal in 2008, following his role debut as Romeo. His other roles included Crown Prince Rudolf (Mayerling), Des Grieux (Manon), Prince Siegfried (Swan Lake), James (La Sylphide), Albrecht (Giselle) and Beliaev (A Month in the Country). He retired from the Company in 2015.

    Pennefather was born in Maidenhead. He joined his twin sister’s ballet class at The Elizabeth Fenton School of Dancing, aged seven and joined The Royal Ballet School as a Junior Associate, later training at Tring Park School and privately with Julie Rose. He returned to The Royal Ballet Upper School and in 1999 graduated into the Company.

    One of Pennefather’s earliest major roles was as Paris (Romeo and Juliet), partnering Sylvie Guillem. This role was soon followed by dancing Aminta (Sylvia) with Marianela Nuñez and Beliaev with Darcey Bussell. In addition to the classical and dramatic ballets, his repertory included roles in DGV: Danse à grande vitesse, Chroma, Song of the Earth and Acis and Galatea (with The Royal Opera). He created roles in Sensorium and 24 Preludes, among others.

  • Freya Thomas

    Freya joined The Elizabeth Fenton School of Dancing when she was just 3 years old and joined her sister in her dancing. Freya soon showed a natural ability to dance and went on to gain a place at White Lodge with the Royal Ballet School, attending full time. Freya spent many years dancing with the Bavarian State ballet company. She is now living and working in Norway with the Norwegian National Ballet and has recently become engaged with her fellow ballet dancer, Erik Murzagaliyev

  • Georgina Powell

    Georgina danced with The Elizabeth Fenton School of Dancing until she was 16 years old before gaining a full time, 3 year course at Bush Davies. Georgina went on to dance 42nd Street in the West End and then onto cruise ships. She had a 10 year professional dance career before going into dance teaching. Georgina spent several years teaching for The Elizabeth Fenton School of Dancing in the late 90's.

  • Storm Norris

    After leaving EFSD, Storm gained a place with Ballet West Scotland on a 3 year BA Hons degree course.

    After graduating in 2018, Storm danced with the Ballet West International Touring Company in Malaysia. She then went on to gain a place with the State Opera Stara Zagora Ballet Company in Bulgaria as a soloist. She has been lucky enough to share the stage with a few stars from the ballet world; Iana Salenko, Marian Walter and Denys Cherevychko.


  • Madeliene Barrett

    In 2018, at just aged 11 years old Madeleine Barrett was offered a full time place with White Lodge, The Royal Ballet School. Madeliene continues to train here and has performed in the Nutcracker at the Royal Opera House.

  • Jake Milston

    Jake Milston left Elizabeth Fenton School of Dance in 2016 at the age of 16 after gaining a full time place at Central School of Ballet. Jake is now in his third and final year completing his degree in dance. 

  • Matthew Truman

    Matthew Truman commenced a full time course with Tring Park School for the Performing Arts on their dance course in 2016. Since then Matthew has worked his way up the school and taken his GCSE's. After auditioning for sixth form places, Matthew was offered a full time place both at Elmhurst Ballet School and Tring Park with a DADA. Matthew choose to stay at Tring Park and continues to work hard!

  • Megan Wardle

    Megan left Elizabeth Fenton School of Dancing at aged 16 in 2019. Megan gained a place at Arts Educational in London on their dance course. Megan was given the role of Dance Captain in her first few weeks there!

  • Emily Lewington

    Emilyleft the school in 2019 at the age of 16 years. Emily gained a place at Bird College on their musical theatre course. Emily was also awarded a DADA scholarship.

  • Eden Harley

    Eden Harley graduated from the school at age 18 years in 2019. Eden gained a place with Ballet West, Scotland and commenced a three year degree in dance.

  • Isabella Antinoro

    Bella departed the Elizabeth Fenton School of dance in 2019 to commence a BTEC Level 3 Course in Performing Arts. Bella gained a scholarship to attend The Wilkes Academy to study.
